I purchased this for closing my pool. I have a smaller Shop-Vac as well. I chose this one to blow out the water from my lines so I do not have to remove water from my pool to get it below the input valve and the skimmer valve. I works great for that application. It also has plenty of power to vacuum up items. I use the smaller Shop-Vac to pick up water. I will also use this 6.5 peak HP Shop-Vac in my wood shop. It was easy to assemble with a snap-in tool holder and four screws for the legs that hold the rollers. Couldn't be easier to assemble. I guess that's the beauty of Shop-Vacs, simple but very useful and this one is quite powerful. It comes with accessories for standard vacuum functions, leaf blowing and removing leaves from gutters. My only issue is the tool holder doesn't hold all the tools. There are too many.

This has turned out to be a better deal than the great deal I though I was getting. Obviously, there is the lightning speed of the Amazon shipping that is to be mentioned. On top of that the unit is fantastic. Adding the blower option and all the tools that come with this unit that I never got with unit I would buy from Menards or Lowes. We use this unit in an automotive body shop and the blower feature has brought new drying techniques to interior details and the assortment of attachments allow us to reach all the small spaces we could before.

I don't see how anyone could go wrong with free shipping, more items, and a better unit that the local places carry for the same price.

This Shop Vac is just OK. The suction is fine, the size is fine, it is very quiet for this type of unit, however, the hose will not stay connected to the elbow. It really should have a positive lock feature like the connection from the hose to the machine itself. I find it very annoying. It is not easy to get the hose back into the blasted attachment, either, so it is possible there are cuss words flying around when it happens. I'm not returning the vac, but am not recommending it either.

A great little saw. My family and friends have all bee impressed with this little chain saw. And because of the design, It is safe enough for my children (older than 12) to use. Because it is set up like hedge clippers, you do not have to hold, or hold down what you are cutting. As a matter of fact, you have to squeeze both handles, so your hands are always out of the way. And because it grabs from both sides of the work, you do not have to hold anything under your foot. Also,the guards keep the chain out of the dirt (and feet), so it stays sharp much longer than your normal chain saw. I have cut thru 4" and larger logs regularly.
I have 2 of these, and 10 batteries (I got 3 free batteries thru Amazon promotions!!!) I also have the 8" pruning chain saw on a pole, and the Grasshog and hedge trimmer on a pole.
The 5th star is missing because the charger is so lame. It should indicate when the charge is full, and when the battery is shot. It only indicates when a battery is in it. not too useful of an indicator. I get about 15 minutes of cutting our of a charge.

The B/D Alligator Lopper is awesome - it is SO much easier to use than a regular chain saw. I've been going through a pile of brush/tree limbs that has piled up on our property for years. This tool has made it FUN! I've been dreading cutting all this up and once I saw this, I knew it was the answer. I have high expectations and have NOT been disappointed. I've used it on some large limbs and it cuts through w/great ease. Let the machine do the work - takes very little effort on my part. The cordless one is worth the extra cost to avoid having to deal w/cords. Hands down the best purchase I've made. I have had to replace the chain once due to the large volume of cutting I've done, but you can find a very affordable replacement chain on Amazon. WORTH IT! Oh, I'm a 47-year old woman w/back problems - that tells how easy it is to use! I've been able to spend many hours using it w/little discomfort.

I purchased the cordless Aligator Lopper for use on trees around the yard, rental properties and neighborhood fine tuning. The saw does a great job on limbs that are 1 inch to 3 inches. Fast work and sufficient battery power to fine tune limbs around the house.

I have used it for big jobs (limbs 3 to 5 inches). The saw works great. However, the battery wont go as far with the big limbs. Fortunately I have purchased several tools that use the same battery. By keeping an extra battery charged and handy, I have yet to run out before my work was done.

Overall, this is an outstanding tool in my opinion. Low maintenance. Quiet and easy to use. Better control than with a standard chain saw. No long extension cord to untangle and stretch around the yard. Also eliminates the potential for cutting the extension cord or tripping over it.

I reviewed and researched EMF meters for many months before finally committing to this one to purchase. I was willing to spend a little more to get something that performs very well and is durable, but having a backlight for the digital display was important too. I wasn't disappointed with this meter.

The description on Amazon touts this meter's rugged design and durability but I was a little surprised to find the buttons on the front feel slightly cheap. I have only had it a day so it's a bit early to anticipate whether they will have any problems, but I think they'll be ok if I'm careful. The unit is fairly solid and I'm surprised at how large it is. It's well over an inch thick from front to back.

Performance wise, the EMF detector is slow when the temperature gauge is on, but you can deactivate the temperature gauge to give the EMF readings a "fast" response. The backlight can be turned on or off and it's fairly bright - although I wish it had a half-light setting. The temperature probe feels lose and consists of a small box-like protrusion on the top with a wire sticking out of the top. I'm afraid that this wire will crack or break because anytime you bend wires they wear out faster. You'll need to bend the wire to store it. However, the temperature sensor provides a very good reading (within one degree of two other sensors I have) and responds fairly quickly. It's nice to have these two instruments in one package, although I don't believe I'll be leaving the temperature gauge on while measuring EMF.

A few tests I've performed with the EMF sensor show that my family room (with the electronics and tv) has a background level around 0.1-0.4 and I can get it to climb above 1.0 near the digital cable box. I haven't tried it with any major electrical boxes to see how fast and high it will climb.

By the way, this sensor allows you to choose different units of measurement for EMF (and temperature too), but it defaults to milligaus (the one paranormal researchers want) and resolves 0.1 mG units. It has a fold-out stand in the back of the unit which will work for our needs although I also worry about its durability over the long-term. It holds a 9-volt battery (not included) that has a cover that is sealed shut with a small screw (keep a screwdriver handy in the field for battery replacements).

The manual is a printed booklet - something that I could print in my house, but it covers the operation sufficiently.

I recommend this unit for anyone who uses EMF meters, especially those using it for paranormal research. Just be careful - I doubt it would survive too many drops on a hard surface.

So, a little over a year ago, I set up cemented-in, metal poles and used 4 cheaper shades. When the Monsoon season hit, the shades' corner linkage tore out and they were flapping everywhere and became unusable.

This summer, I bought 3 Coolaroo shades. These shades are clearly better built with regard to how the corner linkage attaches to the shade and came with quite a bit of hardware (carabiners and turnbuckles). Today, when my wife called me to tell me the Coolaroo shades were flapping about, I thought, "Monsoon season again and even these shades can't take it;" however, when I got home, I discovered that all 3 shades held but hardware attaching two of the shades failed. Again, the shades themselves were fine but the turnbuckles simply gave releasing them and I was able to easily reattach the shades.

The tent material is of high quality and the stainless steel hardware is a nice bonus. I ended up spending the extra money for stainless 3 1/2" screws, 3/16" wire, and connecting hardware (e.g, eyebolts). I painted the galvanized 1 1/2" schedule 40 pipe with a cold-galvanized paint for a "finished" look and added durability.

When installing, be sure to add 10% to the 16' 5" length when measuring for pole placement in the ground. We were satisfied with ~2.5 feet deep holes since the last ~1.5 feet was pure limestone that required an electric jackhammer. And, an extra hand or two is recommended when stretching the tents with a ratchet.

The tent warranty period is 10yrs. Time will tell...

High quality shade sail. Creates about a 10 to 20 degree temp. difference under sail. Looks really sharp, i put up 3 overlapping and get compliments from everyone who sees them. The only issue i have is they where very difficult to put up. The directions could have been a little more detailed, they supply some hardware but i still needed to buy another $150 worth of connections and poles to install the 3 sails. If it wasn't for that issue i would have given it 5 stars, and i do recommend these for anyone looking to create shade in there yard, just make sure your handy enough to install them.

These are terrific towels. I bought four complete sets for my parents as an early Christmas present as they were expecting a houseful of guests. They received so many compliments on the towels - how thick and soft they were.

The only drawback - when washed the first two times, the towels caused a flood in the laundry room as they over-loaded the lint filter on my mom's washing machine. I suggest washing very small loads the first few washings.

The Old Mountain 8 inch trivet was the answer to our baking needs. We placed it on the bottom of our dutch oven and it allowed for hot air to surround the bread giving it a wounderful golden brown color and texture. The trivet has also added to the outcome of cakes and pizza. We did add an 8 inch cake pan to make it a most usefull part of our camp fire cooking.
