I was excited for this blender as it is a 12-speed that specifically has settings for smoothies, milkshakes and "icy drinks." However, I am rather disappointed with this blender. Though the size of the pitcher is a nice size and is dishwasher-safe, the blender itself seems to be a bit fragile. After using it for less than a year, it has started to overheat very quickly. Additionally, the blades have lost their sharpness and leave large pieces of ice unblended and crushed. It's alright for smoothies, purées, and beating eggs, but if you are looking for something that will make good milkshakes or margaritas this may not be the best blender.

This is the first review of an item I've ever made. I have to provide one because this blender is a piece of crap. Last night it would not blend a banana and milk. The banana was left whole. I don't know what the wave action is, but it it does not work. It leave chunks of things. Not good for pureeing babyfood for sure.

This has an overpowering smell, still strong after two days, may need to spray with Fabreeze or put in washer on gentle. It's not a chemical smell but the smell reminds me of a barn, like fresh cut hay. It's made in China. Other than that, I'm very happy with it. I ordered a king to fit my queen bed as a bedspread and it fits perfectly. The weight is light which is exactly what I wanted for San Diego weather. To me the color is more like a cranberry.

This heater is very energy efficient, using around 900 watts on high. It makes you feel warm immediately. Its only drawback is that those halogen elements do put out a surprising amount of light. The light it puts out is a nice color, but in a dark room if you are trying to sleep, it can be a bit much. Overall, though it is a good heater at a good price, that doesn't cost much at all to run, especially on low which is 450 watts. Pennies on the hour.

We have had Halogen heaters before and like the heat they put out. This one does a nice job, burt we have recently noticed that if it stays on for long periods of time there must be a overheat switch on it, because it will cut itself off. We wait a little bit of time, unplug it, then plug it back in, and it goes again just like normal. Overall we like it.

I totally agree with the review written by Metal Manic. This this is great and a good bang for my buck (I got it for $35 at a "big" outlet store today)

For 800 watts it does a great job of heating up a one or two person space on a couch, perfect for watching a movie with the rest of the house heat off.

The one downside is that the light is somewhat bright - one star off for that. It's about what a 20 watt bulb would put out, and of course very directional. Nonetheless, I'm fairly happy with it. It oscillates smoothly and is totally silent.

Very nice looking bookcase for the price. Nice cream color. Can see some gaps in the corners, is heavy and need to be careful since it is easily damaged. The rounded front foot had little piece chipped off but was easily put together with super glue. Has one of the best instructions and illustrations on how to put things together.

The bookcase is built beautifully and is very heavy/sturdy, but it isn't packaged very well. Upon putting our bookcase together we had several places where it was chipped, dented, or actually broken. For the cheap price this is sturdy. It is made from particle board and better MDF (medium density fiberboard) The turned legs are real wood. The color is a little pinkish and very creamy! The shelves are thicker than average, are very heavy and have nice rounded edges. The little " wood grain" lines are a little cheap looking ( if you look closely) on this cream version, but look better on the black version we bought at lowes online. This shelf has a lot of design detail to it. This just happened to fit perfectly in an empty structural alcove we had. we did not use the included bead board backer or one of the shelves. This shelf was wedged in, trimed on the sides and spray painted with the wonderful sherwin williams duration paint, the same color as the walls. Looks like a neat built in now. It is used to openly house guest room linens.

This was cheaper than a carpenters estimate, and other shelves we found were crazy priced or other issues.

The Ambient Weather WS-0100 Wireless Thermo-Hygrometer with Indoor Temperature and Outdoor Temperature and Humidity was so easy to setup. No problem at all. The best thing about this unit it signal go through or around walls. Between my sensor and the station are five walls. Other units I had were awful. I recommend it.

I am very pleased with this. I bought it to replace a weather station made by La Cross. My discomfort with the La Cross unit was that the remote would transmit and update the temperature every 4 seconds, so batteries only lasted about 2 1/2 months. Then the unit had to be completely reprogrammed when the remote batteries were changed. It also did not have a display/sensor for humidity. The remote for the Ambient Weather station will transmit once per minute, which is quite adequate. I have had my unit for a month, during which time it has performed perfectly. It displays the time, indoor and outdoor temperature, and outdoor humidity, so setup is quick and simple. They claim battery life is about 2 years in both display and remote.

The tool does what is supposed to; although I do think it runs down the battery faster than a drill or impact driver does.

It comes with ONE Bi-Medal Blade; A battery (18V not XC), the charger, and a sturdy carrying bag, not plastic case. Of course, an instruction manual for both the battery and tool are included.

It's okay, but I bought this kit because of the free battery Milwaukee was giving away at the time. I already own a charger, so another battery would've been nice, instead of another charger.

It's just okay for the money. Like I said, the bag IS nice and sturdy. It does not look cheap by any means.

The tool performs superb! I had to cut some cast iron ground electrical outlets which are ever so outdated, but it's all we could find where I live. Had to cut around 16 of these in close quarters. This tool saved me days of work and pounds of fat I would've lost having to cut with a manual hacksaw; due to the close quarters cut, this tool saved the day.

Well worth the money. I highly recommend it. Like all purchases of Milwaukee products, although expensive, I haven't regreted buying a single one and the 5 year guarantee comes in very handy.

This tool requires 6 month interval regular maintenance at authorized service centers.

This is a great product. I use it daily as I am remodeling my basement. My most important point is don't even bother with the M12. I purchased the M12 originally and was so disappointed with its lack of power that I returned it the next day.

Second, the ergonomics of the design are great. It feels great in the hand and is easily used by one hand.

Third, the extended battery pack is essential. It is heavier, but you need longer power for extended jobs. When this is exhausted, you can use your original power pack for the 30 minutes while the extended power pack charges. Both batteries charge in 30 minutes. It will be interesting to see how the batteries retain charge over a two period of use.

Fourth,the blades are so easy to change. You just twist the blade holder and slip out the old blade and in with the new one. It uses the same blades as most of the corded reciprocating saws.

Fifth, this saw will not replace a corded reciprocal saw. My much larger Skill reciprocating saw still is the master of destruction when volume and speed of cutting are important factors.

Overall, this tool along with my Bosch 18 volt lithium powered drill are my two favorite tools I have purchased over the past five years. The only downside is the complete package with an additional extended battery is pricey.

Milwaukee tool is constantly upgrading their products and the M18 Hackzall is a great product over their M12 Hackzall. The M18 Hackzall with the red lithium battery pack is an upgrade on a good idea and works well for the professional electrician; where the M12 version is better suited for the handyman around the house and lite commercial. The M18 Hackzall is the workhorse that professional tradesman were looking for.

I bought the Starbucks version of this style cup for $15 and liked it but wanted a cheaper version of it so I could have several on hand. I found these here and bought three of them. They are very nice for what they are intended for and I do like them but they aren't as nice as the Starbucks one. These are not double walled so their insulation is not as good and that causes them to sweat. But I can live with that. The straws on these are MUCH better than the one that comes with the Starbucks cup because they have a stirring mechanism built in with the "fins" on the bottom.

All in all they are very nice and I would recommend them to others. However, if you are looking for the same quality as the Starbucks cup you will be somewhat disappointed with these.

I absolutely love this cup. I bought one in blue for my boyfriend, who drinks tons of soda but likes to put ice in it, and after seeing how much he enjoyed it I tried it & ended up buying a purple one for myself, even though the sale had ended and the price was higher. It was totally worth it. It's an excellent, high-quality product; the double walls are barely noticeable, except when you realize that even in an 80-degree house with four ice cubes in the cup, there is NO sweating. It keeps your stuff cold; the grip is comfortable, and clumsy me has NEVER dropped it; the plastic is really easy to clean (note: I don't have a dishwasher, so I hand-rinse -- no soap necessary, even dried-on Coca-Cola spots rinse right off). The stirrer shape on the end of the straw is ingenious, and the rubber seal inside the lid combined with the snug (but absolutely not inconvenient) straw opening makes spilling a thing of the past, even when the cup is ON ITS SIDE. This is an incredible product, made with the consumer in mind, not just the money; would buy again x1000.

I bought one of these cups after seeing one of my friends with one. I have since ordered 4 more as gifts! You can't find these colors anywhere for this price (around $13 every where else). These cups are FANTASTIC!!! Durable, cute, perfect size, AWESOME & unique straw (that doubles as a stirrer)...I could go on and on about this cup. I use it daily for iced coffee then after a quick wash I fill it and use it all day with ice water. It can be taken to your fav coffee place and filled with any 'venti' size cold drink and you'll save .20 for bringing your own cup! Two notes: 1st, even though it says dishwasher safe I would recommend hand washing to prolong the life of the cup. And 2nd, The lid has a rubber ring that seals the cup from spills. Be careful not to turn the lid too tight or you'll loosen the ring and have to use something to stuff it back. It is an easy fix, but I didn't realize when I bought it that it has a quarter turn locking lid. **even though lid seals you can still spill through the hole for the straw**

We bought this instead of getting another panini maker. Works well, you just need to make sure to heat it enough and give it time. Not as fast if you are use to larger panini maker.

While shopping a retail cooking store, I fell in love with the Krups FDE312 panini press. A bit of Amazon research, however, turned up a disturbing pattern of sudden failures in this product. Research into other presses from Cuisinart, DeLonghi, Breville, Villaware, and others failed to produce a clear front runner. It seemed that each product had one or more issues - non-removable grill plates, difficult cleaning, lack of grill ribs, flimsy handles, tendency to dry food, non-adjustable temperature, etc. Enter the Le Creuset 10 �" grill pan and panini press. You can submerge them to clean. They're coated with enamel, not Teflon, which means with proper care they will last two lifetimes (although they're only guaranteed for the lifetime of the original owner). There's no electrical element to burn out, no cord to store, no moving parts to break. Use is simple. Heat the grill on one burner (we have gas, but they're supposed to work with other technologies) and the press on the other. Wait until a spatter of water vaporizes almost instantly. Brush grill pan with some oil. Place sandwiches on grill pan. Pick up the press, brush on some oil, place on sandwiches and press for a few moments. Sizzle, sizzle. Wait until the cheese melts. Serve. The panini were just like what I'd eaten in Italy. I haven't owned an electric press, but I can't imagine they'd be better. Cleanup of the enamel surface requires a bit of care but, unlike every Teflon-coated product I've ever owned, that surface will probably still be there 20 years from now. And since the grill pan actually has sides (unlike every electric panini press I looked at), there was no side-spattering and thus no cleanup to do around the cooking area. The only disadvantage - the grill/press combination cost me $150, about twice the cost of the average electric panini grill. But since many of the grill reviews I read spoke of this being their second (or third) electric grill, I suspect I'll make my money back over the next 20 years.

This is not the exact Shabu Yaki that I purchased, but is just like it and needed a review. It is the perfect cooker for a fun Mongolian Hot Pot party. Being that it is electric and has the temperature dial to regulate the heat it is the perfect pot to use for a fuss-free party. ANd clean up is a breeze as the pot is just taken off the hot plate and plunged in sudsy water for a quick wash.

For your Hot Pot Party just fill with a nice vegetable broth and get it hot, set out the tray of raw veggies, meats, shrimp, scallops, and several dipping sauces, set everyone up with chopstix and have one of those wire basket spoons handy to retrieve lost morsels. Dinner guests take pieces of meat or veggie and hold it in the boiling broth until it is cooked. Then they let it cool on their plate just a little and spoon a smidgen of one of the sauces on it for a tasty bite. After all the meats and veggies have been cooked and eaten, noodles are tossed in and everyone helps themselves to a portion of noodles in a bowl.

This makes for a great party. Ask your guests to come dressed in Asian style. Set the mood with some Chinese lanterns and a hanging dragon for decoration, put some traditional Chinese music on the CD player, make sure you have plenty of chopstix and the fondu-like fun begins.

I also set up an electric wok at another table and filled it with peanut oil to do tempura battered veggies, shrimp, and to fry egg rolls at the same time. Half my guests started at one table and then after 30 minutes or so they switched with the hot pot table.

I had hidden little red bags with money and small gifts inside in my back yard for the kids to find after dinner, and we set off small fireworks too (sparklers, fountains, party poppers, etc.). Everyone helped themselves to the fortune cookies and some stayed for a game of Chinese checkers (the Mah Jongg game that I had ordered didn't arrive in time).

The kids LOVED this party. My kids and our guests just raved that this was the best one ever. The kids loved cooking their own food. (Make sure you have a sturdy table to set the pots of hot liquid on - no card tables)! So get yourself this perfect little cooker and have some Chinese fondu fun at your house soon!!!

I use this pot every day in my dorm room and I have yet to encounter any problems. It heats up very quickly and holds just enough for my roommate and I to eat our fill. Cleanup is simple and it doesn't take up a lot of room. Perfect for the college student.

Ok ,after reading the previous very good reviews, I chose to order this one. My first use of it, I put in 6 cups of already hot water. After 25 minutes, it was not anywhere near boiling. I removed about half of the water. The pot was filled about 1/3 rd or less. I waited another 15 minutes. It still was not anywhere near boiling. I could put my finger in and it was not hot enough to burn me.
I've tried unplugging it turning the dial down and back up all of the way. Most of the time, the pilot light stayed off. It's pretty obvious to me that it is not going to even come to a simmer (which is all you need for shabu shabu)

I guess I should have tried it before cutting up the amount of meat and veggies that I did.

Not impressed and regretfully I can't join the other 4 satisfied users who left their reviews.
